MICROBLADING

Microblading, a technique used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows, has quickly become one of the most popular cosmetic procedures over the past decade.

If you have any previous work, please reach out to me at brittney@thestudioamarillo.com before booking an appointment to ensure your brows are light enough for Brittney to work with.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • These factors could cause minimal to no retention and indicates that microblading should not be performed. If you:

    • have previous work that is too dark

    • have psoriasis or eczema
    • are on Accutanehave severely oily skin
    • are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • I use a two-step numbing process to maximize comfort for each client: a topical numbing cream prior to your session and another numbing cream after the first pass of microblading to help with the duration of your session.

  • Microbladed brows last anywhere from eight to sixteen months. Powder and Combo Powder Brows typically last longer–two to four years. Those with oily skin or an active lifestyle may see that their results last shorter compared to others. Clients that want to extend the life of their results maintain a yearly touch-up session.

  • I mix a blend of pigments based on your natural hair color. I err on the lighter side for your first session because we can always go darker during your second session if you'd like to. Remember that your brows will get very dark and then very light during the healing stages, so trust the process and you'll have the perfect brows in no time!
