STEFANY BARBOZA

No person may be tattooed who is under the age of 18, pregnant/breastfeeding, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Stefany is an amazing black and gray realism artist. She’s been tattooing for 4 years, focusing primarily on black and gray while venturing into color.

When she was 6 years old, Stefany began attending art classes. From there, her love for art grew stronger as she used it to express herself and process internal struggles. When she realized an art career was something she wanted to pursue, she sought an apprenticeship that lasted 2 years.

She would love to tattoo more anime designs as well as large-scale projects. You can see some of her most recent work and request an appointment below!

THE HEALING PROCESS

WEEK 1

DAYS 1-4

• Wash your hands, then remove the film/bandage
• Use unscented antibacterial soap and warm water to wash your tattoo
• Air dry or pat dry (don’t rub)
• Apply a very thin layer of an ointment such as Aquaphor
• Clean your tattoo a few times a day. Don’t let it fester!

DAYS 5-7

• Apply a thin layer of moisturizing lotion to moisturize the skin and promote healing
• Don’t pick or pull off the scabs
• Avoid wearing anything that could snag on the scabs

WEEK 2

Your tattoo will begin to itch. Continue regular moisturizing. DO NOT SCRATCH, PICK, OR PULL AT THE SCABS. Instead, continue to moisturize regularly, tap or pat the area, or apply a cold compress to alleviate your need to itch it.

WEEK 3

The skin’s surface should heal within this week. But underneath, full recovery may take a couple more months. The itchiness will still be there, so continue following last week’s instructions.
