TONY STARK

For all appointment inquiries, please fill out Tony’s Tattoo Request Form on this page. If you’re having trouble finding the form or have any issues submitting your request, please email Tony with all the necessary informationn at tony@thestudioamarillo.com.

No person may be tattooed who is under the age of 18, pregnant/breastfeeding, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No one under the age of 12 may sit in during your session.

It can be really intimidating walking into a tattoo shop, but that’s exactly the type of thing Tony wanted to redefine when opening The Studio. Aside from creating the perfect tattoo for you, it’s a priority for him to create an environment where you feel comfortable.

Tony’s a collector of all things Marvel, retro, and generally cool. Here’s a look inside my space:

RECENT WORK

THE HEALING PROCESS

WEEK 1

DAYS 1-4

• Wash your hands, then remove the film/bandage
• Use unscented antibacterial soap and warm water to wash your tattoo
• Air dry or pat dry (don’t rub)
• Apply a very thin layer of an ointment such as Aquaphor
• Clean your tattoo a few times a day. Don’t let it fester!

DAYS 5-7

• Apply a thin layer of moisturizing lotion to moisturize the skin and promote healing
• Don’t pick or pull off the scabs
• Avoid wearing anything that could snag on the scabs

WEEK 2

Your tattoo will begin to itch. Continue regular moisturizing. DO NOT SCRATCH, PICK, OR PULL AT THE SCABS. Instead, continue to moisturize regularly, tap or pat the area, or apply a cold compress to alleviate your need to itch it.

WEEK 3

The skin’s surface should heal within this week. But underneath, full recovery may take a couple more months. The itchiness will still be there, so continue following last week’s instructions.
